Can Miami Shock The World? Doubtful.

NE Patriots (-10.5) vs Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots (10-2) will take a trip to Miami to face off against the Dolphins (5-7) Monday night. This will be the second meeting between these divisional opponents, the last meeting taking place two weeks ago where Tom Brady threw for 4 touchdowns and handled the Dolphins 35-17.

The Patriots have the 3rd ranked offense, scoring 29 PPG. They play just as well if not better on the road, averaging 29.3 PPG in away games. New England is also 3-1 ATS during away games this season when they are favored by 7 to 13.5 points. The line started at NE -12 and has moved to -10.5. I am going against the public, I believe New England will cover. The Dolphins have the 26th ranked offense, averaging an abysmal 17.4 PPG. Miami had their first win last week since Week 7. They blew out the Denver Broncos 35-9, I do not expect them to repeat such a performance two weeks in a row.

Never in my life can I remember witnessing Jay Cutler tearing it up on prime-time games. Although the Patriots will be without Gronk, I do not see it being a huge issue with Tom Brady at the helm. Brady has familiarity playing without Gronk because of Gronk’s injuries throughout the years. Look for another blowout win and a sweep in this divisional matchup.

Prediction: New England 31 – Miami 16
