Super Bowl – Podcast Picks and Bad Beats of the Year

Podcast hosts Jack and Cello bounced back nicely two weeks ago and went 2-0 for Championship weekend.  Listen to their recap show here.   They wrap up their final show of the year with their Super Bowl pick, thoughts on Props, and also spend some time looking back on the year and give out awards to the “Bad Beat Of The Year” which most of you will also remember as one of the main reasons why betting real money on games is a fools errand and playing at WANNA is the way to go.  This week’s Podcast is live. so tune in and listen to the final episode of the season.  The final pick of the season is… (drumroll please using the current line at Wannamakeabet.com)

  • Kansas City Chiefs +2 and +117 versus San Francisco 49ers
    • Mahomes is better than Purdy.  Andy better than Shanny.  Spags better than Wilks.  The wrong team is favored in this game.  The Chiefs are playing their best football over the past month and the 49ers come crawling to the finish line and have yet to play a complete game in the playoffs.  And if that wasn’t enough, the 49ers kicker, Jake Moody, is unreliable and gets yippy on big pressure kicks (read: Rams and Browns games).  Take the Chiefs with the points and the moneyline.
  • Favorite Prop – Travis Kelce MVP 16/1
    • This ties into us thinking the Chiefs are going to win so we have to assume that happens or this is a wash.  But who does the league want to feature in this game?  Kelce.  Mahomes has already won the award before and his dad getting the DUI this week is a bad look but more importantly, Travis was the most interviewed player this week.  And the Swifty tie-ins for multi lateral promotional purposes is all leading to one place.  Travis gets in the end zone, gets targets and yards, makes great catches in key moments, and wins this award and then tops it off with the talk show circuit tour for the next month.   He’s the guy.  He’s the face of the league now.  He’s the MVP.

Good luck with your selections and we’ll come back to you next week to ask for your feedback on product features and general requests.  Any questions, you know where to find us.

Jack and Josh!
