WANNA Week 6 Injury Report
Based on our October 15 injury updates from the NFL, with additional reporting on the key quarterback situations. Questionable means monitor—not assumed out. IR-R/PUP return listings do not confirm activation. Impact assessments below are football analysis, not numerical adjustments to a betting line.
Tonight’s five biggest storylines:
- Lamar Jackson: Baltimore’s quarterback uncertainty comes with multiple offensive linemen also questionable.
- Baker Mayfield: Doubtful in your file; Tampa Bay is preparing for another Jalon Daniels start.
- Philadelphia’s backfield: Saquon Barkley questionable, Will Shipley doubtful and Tank Bigsby on IR.
- Chargers’ offensive depth: Joe Alt and multiple receivers questionable, with Rashawn Slater and Tyler Biadasz already on IR.
- Denver’s secondary tonight: Pat Surtain and Talanoa Hufanga out; Riley Moss questionable.

Seattle at Denver — Tonight, 8:15 p.m.
SEATTLE
- Key injuries: RB Zach Charbonnet remains on PUP; RB Jadarian Price and G Anthony Bradford are on IR. LBs Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt are OUT.
- Also banged up / unavailable: WR Jake Bobo on IR; CB Terrion Arnold on the commissioner’s exempt list.
- Replacement impact: Moderate concern, particularly at linebacker. Losing both Thomas and Surratt reduces flexibility and puts more responsibility on the remaining rotation.
- Podcast note: “Seattle’s concern is the middle of the defense and running-back depth. Denver’s concern is who can cover.”
DENVER
- Key injuries: CB Pat Surtain—ankle, OUT; S Talanoa Hufanga—ankle, OUT; CB Riley Moss—ribs, questionable.
- Also unavailable: WR Pat Bryant on IR; edge Jonathon Cooper on the commissioner’s exempt list.
- Replacement impact: Significant, potentially major for the secondary if Moss also sits. Losing the top coverage option plus a starting-caliber safety can force more protection from the scheme.
- Picks implication: Seattle’s passing matchup becomes more attractive, but Moss’s availability matters. Do not automatically assume the same coverage plan works without Surtain.
Houston at Jacksonville — Sunday, 9:30 a.m.
HOUSTON
- Key injuries: RB David Montgomery—groin, DOUBTFUL; CB Jalen Pitre—shoulder, DOUBTFUL. WR Jayden Higgins remains on IR; Tank Dell is listed IR-R.
- Also banged up: LB Azeez Al-Shaair—groin; DE Jadeveon Clowney—knee; OT Trent Brown—knee, all questionable.
- Replacement impact: Moderate to significant across multiple units. Montgomery’s absence would change the backfield workload; Pitre’s absence would affect underneath coverage and run support. Dell’s return should not be counted until activation and workload are established.
- Podcast note: “Houston could be short a back, an important coverage piece and receiving depth. It’s the combination that matters.”
JACKSONVILLE
- Key injuries: OT Anton Harrison on IR; OT Cole Van Lanen—knee, questionable. CBs Montaric Brown, Jarrian Jones, Jaylon Jones and Jourdan Lewis are all questionable.
- Also banged up: S Eric Murray—concussion; G Emmanuel Pregnon—toe. G Patrick Mekari listed IR-R.
- Replacement impact: Significant if multiple corners miss. The offensive tackle situation also becomes more concerning if Van Lanen cannot play with Harrison already unavailable.
- Picks implication: Houston’s receiver availability versus Jacksonville’s available corners is the matchup to revisit. Avoid treating every questionable corner as an absence.
Baltimore at Cleveland — Sunday, 1 p.m.
BALTIMORE
- Key injuries: QB Lamar Jackson—ankle, questionable. C Cam Jurgens—concussion; OT Roger Rosengarten—knee; Gs John Simpson, Andrew Vorhees and Emery Jones are also questionable.
- Also banged up: WR Rashod Bateman—shoulder; CB Marlon Humphrey—hamstring; LBs Trenton Simpson and Teddye Buchanan.
- Replacement analysis: Tyler Huntley is the established fallback, giving Baltimore an experienced option familiar with playing in Jackson’s place. My assessment: significant reduction in offensive ceiling if Jackson sits, with the line’s availability determining how manageable the assignment becomes. Baltimore’s own reporting identifies Huntley as the replacement option. News & Notes
- Podcast note: “The question isn’t just whether Lamar plays. It’s whether he can move normally—and who is blocking in front of him.”
CLEVELAND
- Key injuries: DT Mason Graham—knee/MCL, DOUBTFUL; RB Quinshon Judkins—foot, questionable. OT Tytus Howard, C Elgton Jenkins and G Teven Jenkins are questionable.
- Also banged up: WRs KC Concepcion—concussion—and Denzel Boston—foot; DTs Maliek Collins and Mike Hall; S Grant Delpit; LB Carson Schwesinger.
- Replacement impact: Significant potential line stress on both sides. Graham’s likely absence is more important if Collins or Hall also cannot play. Judkins’s status matters more with Dylan Sampson still listed IR-R.
- Picks implication: “Baltimore’s injured blocking unit against Cleveland’s injured defensive interior” is the key interaction. Neither unit should be evaluated in isolation.
Carolina at Philadelphia — Sunday, 1 p.m.
CAROLINA
- Key injuries: OTs Ikem Ekwonu on PUP and Taylor Moton on NFI; OT Monroe Freeling—knee, questionable. CBs Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson remain on IR.
- Also banged up: G Damien Lewis—elbow; edge Jaelan Phillips—hamstring; TEs Tommy Tremble—ribs—and Darren Waller—toe.
- Replacement impact: Significant, especially if Freeling misses. Carolina has both protection concerns and established cornerback absences.
- Podcast note: “Carolina’s issue is whether the remaining protection can hold up. If it cannot, the passing game may have to live underneath.”
PHILADELPHIA
- Key injuries: RB Saquon Barkley—hamstring, questionable; RB Will Shipley—foot, DOUBTFUL; RB Tank Bigsby on IR. WR DeVonta Smith—hamstring, questionable.
- Also banged up: WRs Hollywood Brown and Dontayvion Wicks; G Tyler Steen; edge Jonathan Greenard. Edge Jalyx Hunt is DOUBTFUL. G Landon Dickerson listed IR-R.
- Replacement impact: Potentially major backfield concern if Barkley sits. With Shipley doubtful and Bigsby on IR, this is more than a normal starter-to-backup transition. The file does not establish the available replacement or workload split.
- Picks implication: “Philadelphia could face a vulnerable secondary while being short several of the players needed to exploit it.” Barkley and Smith are priority checks.
Chicago at Atlanta — Sunday, 1 p.m.
CHICAGO
- Key injuries: QB Caleb Williams—hamstring, questionable; LB T.J. Edwards—hamstring, DOUBTFUL; DE Dayo Odeyingbo—quadriceps, DOUBTFUL. DE Montez Sweat is suspended.
- Also banged up: RB Kyle Monangai—toe; CB Tyrique Stevenson—hip; LB Keyshaun Elliott—quadriceps. CB Kyler Gordon remains listed PUP.
- Replacement analysis: Williams’s outlook improved: Chicago said he would have been a full participant in Wednesday’s walkthrough, his first such listing since the injury. That is encouraging, although it does not confirm a start. Tyson Bagent/Case Keenum provide experienced alternatives; my assessment is a moderate-to-significant ceiling reduction if Williams cannot return. chicagobears.com
- Podcast note: “Caleb’s trending toward a return, but Chicago’s defensive absences could be just as important.”
ATLANTA
- Key injuries: CB A.J. Terrell and edge Jalon Walker remain on IR; edge James Pearce is suspended.
- Also banged up: Edge Za’Darius Smith—concussion; LB Divine Deablo—hamstring; CB C.J. Henderson—groin.
- Replacement impact: Significant defensive depth concern, especially if Smith misses with Walker and Pearce already unavailable. Terrell’s absence also limits coverage options.
- Picks implication: A Williams return would matter more against this depleted defense. Watch Atlanta’s available pass rush before assuming it can compensate for the cornerback loss.
New Orleans at New York Giants — Sunday, 1 p.m.
NEW ORLEANS
- Key injuries: RB Alvin Kamara—back, questionable; WR Chris Olave—illness, questionable. RBs Travis Etienne and Ty Chandler remain on IR; OT Kelvin Banks and G Dillon Radunz also on IR.
- Also banged up: LB Kaden Elliss—calf; DE Tyree Wilson—ankle; multiple defensive linemen. WR Jordyn Tyson listed IR-R.
- Replacement impact: Significant if Kamara misses, given the other backfield absences. Olave’s availability is a separate major variable for the passing game.
- Podcast note: “New Orleans could be missing backfield depth, blocking and its primary receiving threat. Kamara and Olave are the two names to circle.”
NEW YORK GIANTS
- Key injuries: QB Jaxson Dart on IR; OTs Andrew Thomas—groin—and Jermaine Eluemunor—calf, questionable. Edge Brian Burns on IR; Abdul Carter—calf, questionable.
- Also banged up: WR Darnell Mooney; TE Theo Johnson; CBs Greg Newsome and Colton Hood; safeties Tyler Nubin and Jason Pinnock. CB Paulson Adebo remains on IR.
- Replacement analysis: Jameis Winston is the replacement for Dart, with extensive starting experience. This is an established lineup change, not a fresh Week 6 surprise. My assessment: moderate change in offensive profile, with greater concern if either tackle misses. The Giants confirmed Dart will miss the rest of the regular season. giants.com
- Picks implication: The Giants’ tackle and secondary availability deserve more attention than simply repeating that Dart is out.
New York Jets at New England — Sunday, 1 p.m.
NEW YORK JETS
- Key injuries: RB Breece Hall—quadriceps, DOUBTFUL; WR Adonai Mitchell—finger, DOUBTFUL; G Dylan Parham—knee, DOUBTFUL; DE Joseph Ossai—ankle, DOUBTFUL.
- Also banged up: TE Kenyon Sadiq—concussion; S Dane Belton—knee. WR Omar Cooper listed IR-R.
- Replacement impact: Significant cumulative concern. Hall’s likely absence affects both the rushing and receiving workload; Mitchell and Parham would further reduce offensive flexibility.
- Podcast note: “The Jets have four doubtful players spread across meaningful roles. This is a collective downgrade, not just a Breece Hall story.”
NEW ENGLAND
- Key injuries: RB TreVeyon Henderson—ankle; OTs Will Campbell—knee/MCL—and Morgan Moses—foot, all questionable. WR A.J. Brown remains listed IR-R.
- Also banged up: CBs Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis and Marcus Jones; S Kevin Byard. G Mike Onwenu and WR Mack Hollins on IR.
- Replacement impact: Significant if either tackle misses; potentially major if both do. Multiple questionable corners create another possible cluster problem. Brown should not be treated as available until activated.
- Picks implication: New England’s questionable corners versus the Jets’ depleted receiving group is the key offset. Henderson’s status also matters if protection problems encourage a shorter passing game.
Pittsburgh at Tampa Bay — Sunday, 1 p.m.
PITTSBURGH
- Key injuries: WRs Roman Wilson—finger—and Ben Skowronek—calf, OUT; WR Michael Pittman on IR. RB Rico Dowdle—toe, questionable.
- Also banged up: DT Keeanu Benton—ankle; CB Jamel Dean—ankle; S Jalen Ramsey—wrist. S DeShon Elliott listed IR-R; DT Derrick Harmon on IR.
- Replacement impact: Significant receiver-depth concern. Multiple absences reduce formation and substitution options. Benton’s status also matters with Harmon already unavailable.
- Podcast note: “Pittsburgh may face a backup quarterback, but its own receiver depth and defensive availability keep this from being a simple injury advantage.”
TAMPA BAY
- Key injuries: QB Baker Mayfield—throwing-hand thumb, DOUBTFUL; S Antoine Winfield—ribs, questionable. WR Jalen McMillan remains on IR.
- Also banged up: CB Benjamin Morrison—quadriceps; LB SirVocea Dennis—ankle; RB Sean Tucker—quadriceps.
- Replacement analysis: Tampa Bay’s reporting says rookie Jalon Daniels is likely to make his third straight start. That provides recent continuity, but my assessment remains a significant experience downgrade from Mayfield. Mayfield had not participated in Wednesday’s practice; his ability to grip and throw remains the key test. October 2026
- Picks implication: Evaluate Tampa Bay as a likely Daniels-led offense unless the situation changes. Winfield’s absence would independently weaken the defense.
Tennessee at Indianapolis — Sunday, 1 p.m.
TENNESSEE
- Key injuries: S Kevin Winston—quadriceps, DOUBTFUL; S Amani Hooker—concussion, questionable; RB Tyjae Spears—knee, questionable.
- Also banged up: CB Marcus Harris; TE David Martin-Robinson. Multiple offensive guards and defensive depth players remain on IR.
- Replacement impact: Moderate overall; significant safety concern if Hooker also misses. Losing both safeties can affect communication and coverage assignments.
- Podcast note: “Hooker is the swing player. One safety absence is manageable; two creates a different coverage problem.”
INDIANAPOLIS
- Key injuries: WR Alec Pierce remains on IR; WR Josh Downs—hamstring, questionable; G Matt Goncalves—concussion, questionable.
- Also banged up: WR Ashton Dulin—hamstring; OT Jalen Travis—ankle; DE Jaylahn Tuimoloau—concussion.
- Replacement impact: Moderate to significant if Downs misses, because Pierce is already unavailable. Goncalves’s status adds a protection concern.
- Picks implication: Indianapolis could face a weakened safety group while also missing receiving options. Downs’s availability determines how much of that matchup advantage remains.
Arizona at Los Angeles Rams — Sunday, 4:05 p.m.
ARIZONA
- Key injuries: RB Jeremiyah Love—ankle, questionable; RB Trey Benson on IR; James Conner listed IR-R. OT Paris Johnson and CB Will Johnson remain on IR.
- Also banged up: S Andrew Wingard—knee; WR Devin Duvernay—ribs. S Wydett Williams—concussion, OUT.
- Replacement impact: Significant potential backfield stress. If Love misses and Conner is not activated, Arizona loses another option from an already depleted group. Paris Johnson’s absence compounds the offensive concern.
- Podcast note: “Arizona’s running-back picture depends on both Love’s health and Conner’s activation. Don’t assume Conner is back because he appears on the return list.”
LOS ANGELES RAMS
- Key injuries: Edge Myles Garrett on IR; OT Alaric Jackson suspended; TE Terrance Ferguson on IR.
- Also banged up: TEs Colby Parkinson—shoulder—and Davis Allen—foot; LB Nate Landman—wrist; CB Josh Wallace—shoulder.
- Replacement impact: Significant established losses at tackle and pass rush. Additional tight-end absences could reduce blocking and personnel options.
- Picks implication: Arizona’s depleted protection against a Rams rush missing Garrett is an important offset. Watch the Rams’ tight ends before assuming full offensive flexibility.
Buffalo at Las Vegas — Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
BUFFALO
- Key injuries: WR DJ Moore—shoulder/AC joint; OT Spencer Brown—back; DT Ed Oliver—knee, all questionable.
- Also banged up: WR Joshua Palmer—shoulder; DT T.J. Sanders—shoulder; CB Dee Alford—ankle; RB Ty Johnson—hamstring.
- Replacement impact: Moderate individually, significant if clustered. Moore and Palmer together affect receiving depth; Oliver and Sanders together affect the interior defensive rotation.
- Podcast note: “Buffalo’s report has several separate dominoes: receivers, right tackle and defensive tackle. Watch which group actually loses players.”
LAS VEGAS
- Key injuries: TE Brock Bowers—knee, questionable; WR Jalen Nailor—concussion, questionable. WR Jack Bech remains on IR.
- Also banged up: DTs Folorunso Fatukasi—shoulder—and Tonka Hemingway—concussion; C Trey Zuhn—knee.
- Replacement impact: Significant if Bowers misses. His receiving role is difficult to replace directly, particularly with other receivers unavailable or uncertain.
- Picks implication: Bowers’s availability is the first check. Buffalo’s defensive injuries become less exploitable if Las Vegas loses a central offensive weapon.
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City — Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
- Key injuries: OT Joe Alt—neck, questionable, with OT Rashawn Slater and C Tyler Biadasz on IR. WR Tre’ Harris—hamstring, DOUBTFUL; WRs Ladd McConkey—foot—and Quentin Johnston—chest, questionable. TE David Njoku on IR.
- Also banged up: S Derwin James; CB Donte Jackson; S Elijah Molden; LB Daiyan Henley; multiple defensive linemen and additional receivers.
- Replacement impact: Potentially major if Alt misses. Losing another premium tackle on top of the existing line absences could demand extra protection. Missing McConkey or Johnston would simultaneously reduce quick-passing options.
- Podcast note: “This is one of the week’s biggest cluster situations: can they protect, and do they have the receivers available to get the ball out quickly?”
KANSAS CITY
- Key injuries: WR Rashee Rice—hamstring; OT Josh Simmons—back; CB L’Jarius Sneed—knee, all questionable.
- Also unavailable: WR Tyquan Thornton on IR; DT Omarr Norman-Lott on PUP.
- Replacement impact: Significant if Rice or Simmons misses. Rice affects the passing game’s options; Simmons affects protection. Sneed’s absence would be more damaging if the Chargers’ receivers are available.
- Picks implication: This matchup needs coordinated updates. Kansas City’s cornerback issue matters differently against a healthy Chargers receiving group than against a depleted one.
Dallas at Green Bay — Sunday, 8:20 p.m.
DALLAS
- Key injuries: CBs Joey Porter—illness—and Cobie Durant—hamstring, questionable; LB DeMarvion Overshown—hamstring, questionable.
- Also unavailable: Safeties Jalen Thompson and P.J. Locke on IR; DT Jonathan Bullard on IR.
- Replacement impact: Significant secondary concern if either corner misses, given the safety absences. Overshown adds another coverage and pursuit variable.
- Podcast note: “Dallas’s offensive stars aren’t the headline in this file. The question is how much of the defensive back seven is available.”
GREEN BAY
- Key injuries: DT Javon Hargrave—Achilles, OUT; LB Edgerrin Cooper and WR Jayden Reed on IR; edge Micah Parsons on PUP. RB Josh Jacobs is on the commissioner’s exempt list.
- Also banged up: DT Devonte Wyatt—ankle; CBs Keisean Nixon—groin—and Benjamin St-Juste—hamstring; G Aaron Banks—toe; S Evan Williams—illness.
- Replacement impact: Significant established front-seven losses, with additional stress if Wyatt misses. Jacobs’s roster status also affects the backfield, although it is not an injury.
- Picks implication: Dallas’s secondary injuries and Green Bay’s defensive-front losses create different offensive opportunities. Neither automatically produces an over without considering pace and available personnel.
Washington at San Francisco — Monday, 8:15 p.m.
WASHINGTON
- Key injuries: OT Laremy Tunsil on IR; WR Stefon Diggs—hamstring, questionable. QB Marcus Mariota—knee/MCL, DOUBTFUL.
- Also banged up: DE Charles Omenihu—groin; safeties Percy Butler, Nick Cross and Tyler Owens. DT Jer’Zhan Newton and LB Leo Chenal remain on IR.
- Replacement impact: Significant protection concern without Tunsil. Mariota’s status affects quarterback depth; the file alone does not establish a new starting-quarterback change.
- Podcast note: “Washington’s first checks are protection, Diggs and the secondary. Mariota being doubtful should not be presented as proof the starting quarterback is out.”
SAN FRANCISCO
- Key injuries: WR Deebo Samuel—hamstring, OUT; WRs Ricky Pearsall and Demarcus Robinson on IR; Christian Kirk listed IR-R; Brandon Aiyuk remains reserve/DNR. DE Nick Bosa—calf, questionable.
- Also unavailable / banged up: LB Dre Greenlaw suspended; S Marques Sigle—ankle, DOUBTFUL; LB Garret Wallow—hamstring, OUT; FB Kyle Juszczyk—knee, questionable. CB Nate Hobbs remains on IR.
- Replacement impact: Major receiver-depth concern. These overlapping absences make the available receiver rotation and Kirk’s activation important. Bosa’s status is the separate defensive swing factor.
- Picks implication: “Washington’s missing left tackle matters much more if Bosa plays. San Francisco’s depleted receiving group may also limit how effectively it attacks Washington’s injured secondary.”
Bye-week watch: Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami and Minnesota
CINCINNATI: WR Andrei Iosivas on IR; TE Tanner Hudson OUT; S Kyle Dugger questionable. The bye provides recovery time; these do not create a Week 6 matchup adjustment.
DETROIT: Safeties Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph remain on PUP, with Thomas Harper and Avonte Maddox on IR. LB Devin White is DOUBTFUL; RB Isiah Pacheco on IR. The safety group remains the central longer-term concern.
MIAMI: RB De’Von Achane remains on IR with an ACL injury. Multiple corners remain unavailable or questionable, including Storm Duck, Darrell Baker and JuJu Brents. Backfield production and secondary depth remain the priorities after the bye.
MINNESOTA: WR Jordan Addison—hamstring; OT Christian Darrisaw—concussion; TE T.J. Hockenson—concussion, all questionable. RB Jordan Mason and G Donovan Jackson on IR. Darrisaw’s clearance and the availability of Addison/Hockenson are the main checks for the next game.
