Yankees vs Guardians Game 4
The Guardians were able to comeback late in the 9th inning yesterday to take a 2-1 lead over the Yankees. Now they have a chance to close it out in from of their home crowd today. The only problem with that is Mr. Gerrit Cole is starting for the Yankees. Cole was very good in Game 1 going 6.1 IP 1ER & 8K’s. The Guardians will send out Cal Quantrill who was alright in Game 1 struggling at times going 5IP 4ER with 5K’s.
This one is a tough handicap as these pitchers squared off against each other in Game 1. The Yankees are -175 and the total is sitting at 6.5. I am going to look at the over in this game. I think the advantage lies with both offenses having seen these pitchers this series.
Even though Cole’s numbers were good in game 1 there were a few moments where the Guardians had the opportunity to put up runs. On the flip side I think Quantrill will be similar to his first start where he allowed a few runs. The Yankees offense was able to put up some good at bats and I think they do that again here tonight. Good news for Yankees fans Judge was able to break out of his slump hitting a home run yesterday. If he can get going that should help this over even more. If you are nervous taking an over with Cole on the mount, I think Yankees Team Total over 3.5 runs is good play as well. Give me the over 6.5 tonight!
