KC Chiefs – 6 over Tennessee Titans – Mahomes is back and you know what that means. The entire country will be betting on the Chiefs especially given how bad Tennessee has been playing. But if ever there was a live underdog the Titans are it today. Take the 6 and roll the dice.
Buffalo Bills + 3 at Cleveland Browns – Buffalo hasn’t beaten anyone and the Browns have lost to the highly successful NFC West and Denver is no slouch despite their record. Cleveland needs a win badly and they’ll get it today.
Arizona Cardinals +5.5 at Tampa Bay Bucs – Tampa is prone to turn the ball over through fumbles and picks and Arizona is very much a live dog today. I’m just starting to think Tampa is a team to back as a dog and stay away from as a favorite.
New York Jets + 3 over New York Giants – Seems like every important unit for the Jets is banged up. But the Giants are relatively healthy. And trending and looking better each week. I like Big Blue in this one.
Carolina Panthers + 4.5 over Green Bay Packers – The Packers are healthy, but so are the Panthers so no definitive edge for either team based on injuries. I hate to go against Green Bay at home but Carolina is going to be a live dog for me every time they take the field. I’ll take them against any team in the league getting more than a field goal.
Miami Dolphins +10.5 over Indianapolis Colts – Monkey is off the back for Miami but this week it’s right back down to earth. Brian Hoyer is a very capable backup and there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference between him and Brissett. Miami has been a covering machine for the past month but I think the run ends this week as they come back down to earth and the Colts get a big win today.
LA Rams – 4 over Pittsburgh Steelers – The Rams had the Super Bowl hangover for the first month but we’re starting to see the real team come out in the past few weeks. Pittsburgh is not nearly as good as their record and they’ll get exposed big time today by a much better team on both sides of the ball.
