Here are my College Football Predictions for 10/19/19. We’re halfway through the college football season and many teams have established exactly who they are. So, in theory, handicapping should become easier now that the first six weeks are in the rear view mirror. Here’s who I think will cover the number this weekend.

Northwestern +27 over Ohio State
Imagine getting four touchdowns at home from the big bad Buckeyes and that’s where Northwestern finds themselves on this strangely scheduled big 10 game. Buckeyes might be looking ahead to Wisconsin and at a certain point the purple offense has to wake up don’t they? I’ll take my chances here.
Purdue +17.5 over Iowa.
Iowa is the slowest most methodical team in the Big 10 so I can’t imagine they’re going to cover this kind of number against a rival like Purdue. Purdue can hang around this game until the end and even possibly steal it straight up.
Wisconsin -31 over Illinois
What an embarrassing number for Illinois but it is what it is. One final tune up for Wisky before the Buckeye game next week. Illinois is officially the worst team in the conference not named Rutgers.
South Carolina + 5 over Florida
Are the Gamecocks for real just because they beat Georgia last week? Yes, they are. And that confidence is exactly what they need going into this game against the Gators. If they want to prove last week wasn’t a fluke here’s their chance. And they’re getting 5 at home to boot.
Georgia -25.5 over Kentucky
Speaking of a bounce back game, Georgia needs one badly. And an order of Kentucky fried chicken is in order for Saturday as they wipe the taste of the USC loss right out of their mouths with a blowout win.
Alabama -34.5 over Tennessee
Tennessee likely won’t score in this game and Bama can only win by 48 to remain in the favor of the pollsters.
Minnesota -28.5 over Rutgers
Poor Rutgers. This week’s opponent has a douchy head coach who loves to run up the score on bad teams. No mercy for the Scarlet Knights this week as they get blown out and don’t score. Again.
Michigan +9 over Penn State
The white out. Ok. Maybe. But talk about a statement game for Michigan and their struggling offense. Here it is. This is their chance to wipe away the memory of the Wisconsin loss and get back in the favor of the Bowl committee and have a chance at the Big 10 if they can somehow find a way to beat the Buckeyes over Thanksgiving weekend. But if Penn State can almost lose to Pitt they can almost lose to Michigan.
