The commish has been torching the NFL this season and it’s time to start releasing plays to the general public instead of being a secret bettor. Here’s who I have my eye on for this first edition of the 2019 Sunday NFL Commish Picks.

Miami Dolphins + 15 over San Diego
Vegas really hates the Dolphins but I don’t. Last week I reluctantly backed Dallas laying 21 at home to the fish and they barely got there and likely should not have covered that game. Fast forward to this week and we’re getting nearly three full scores in the humidity and a cross country game for a team that has not looked that great thus far.
Indy Colts – 6.5 over Oakland
The Colts have looked fantastic thus far and Oakland is quite the opposite. I don’t think Vegas has properly valued the Colts yet and today is another example. Laying less than a TD at home to this directionless team seems like easy money.
Detroit + 7 over Kansas City
I know the consensus out of Vegas is the Chiefs this week but I’m backing the Lions again. I was on them last week in Philly and will continue the ride this week in the motor city. I know it’s dangerous to go against this Chiefs offense but the Lions have looked great thus far (despite giving up a crazy comeback for a tie to Arizona). I think this team is starting to feel confident under Patricia and wouldn’t be surprised if they won this game today.
New England – 7 over Buffalo
You know when the big brother always beats up the little brother, no matter when or where. That’s what this game reminds me of. As badly as I want Buffalo to win or even cover this game, they just can’t and won’t.
Vikings + 1 over Bears
Just going with what I think is the better team in this division battle. Trubisky is just not that good and today’s the day he really pays for it. The Bears defense can keep them almost any game but eventually the levy has to break that’ll happen today at Soldier Field.
Bengals + 3.5 over Steelers
No self respecting Browns fan (that’s me) could ever root for the Steeler’s but this is actually all business. This is a team in a tail spin and lacking confidence. Meanwhile, the Bengals are a bit Jeckyl and Hyde but they will be prepared for this one and have the weapons to cover this number or even get the win.
Stay tuned to our blog throughout the week for more picks and great content about the NFL.
