Week 13 NFL Predictions Against The Spread

Our week 13 NFL predictions at Wannamakeabet.com take us to the final month of the 2018 season.  I’m coming off a losing week last week and yet still don’t regret my picks.  I’m still surprised the Cincinnati Bengals are as bad as they are.   But let’s get right into the week 13 predictions with lots of great games on tap this Sunday.

Carolina -3.5 O/U 54.5 at Tampa Bay

Two tough losses for Carolina in the last two weeks have them briefly out of the playoff picture.  What better a game to get back on track than the Bucs who will have no answer for the three headed monster that is Cam, McCaffery, and D.J. Moore.  Carolina stomps the Bucs in yet another over.

Buffalo +3.5 over Miami

Despite their records this AFC east battle is going to be a great defensive game.  Bills are really trending well after beating up the Jets and Jags over the past two weeks.  Meanwhile, Miami has lost two straight.  This line came out at Miami -6 and has been bet down considerably since then.  We like the Bills getting more than a field goal.

Browns +5.5 over Houston

Feels like a trap game for the Texans after a big emotional win on Monday night and not much reason to get up for the Browns.  Meanwhile, the new cardian kids are starting to believe they can play and beat anyone in the league.  Let this line get to 6 and take it home for dinner.

Arizona +14 over Green Bay

I was shocked to see this line this high but I know what Vegas was thinking here.  The Packers must win this game and have not had an easy game in the last month.  Therefore, time for a blowout.  On the flip side, Arizona got blown out by San Diego and appeared to be the worst team in the league and they’re the ones who are going to get mauled by the Pack.  But not so fast.  Aaron Rodgers admitted they’ve been a one half team.  So they’re finally going to play a complete, perfect game this week?  I don’t think. so.  Take two TDs in the NFL almost any time you can.

Raiders +15 over Kansas City

Imagine what it’s like to be on a team that’s getting 15 points at home.  Even Gruden admitted he knew what the spread was.  I find that encouraging.  He must be walking around the locker room telling people Vegas doesn’t think you guys can even lose by less than two touchdowns to our biggest rival.  David Carr’s ability to take care of the ball and the emotion behind the rivalry will actually keep this game close.  Take the Raiders at home.  If they go up 7-0 to start the game you have a 22 point lead.    Or better yet, put the Raiders in a four team teaser getting 28 and see how that works out.

Vikings + 5 at New England

Just realized how many underdogs I like this week so we might as well ice the cake with one more.  This pick just comes down to one thing, the Viking pass rush.  They will put pressure on Brady all night.  This line opened at Pats – 7.5 and has been moving down precipitously all week.  Feels like a close one in Foxboro Sunday night.  Get these points before it goes to 4.
