Houston took care of business against the Jets and improved to 10-4 overall and 6-7 ATS. The final score was 29-22 which means we started out the week with a Push as the closing line at Wanna was Texans -7.
Cleveland went on the road and beat Denver as a 2.5 point dog. It was a signature win for the Browns and rookie QB Baker Mayfield as it was their only prime time game of the season. The Browns improve to 6-7-1 and an impressive 9-5 ATS this season.
Atlanta blew the doors off the Arizona Cardinals 40-14. It was too little too late for the Falcons but an impressive win either way. The Falcons slip to 5-9 and still horrific 4-10 ATS record.
Baltimore stayed very much alive in the Wildcard race by beating Tampa Bay 20-12. This was a bad beat if you bet Baltimore late at Wanna as the line was moving off of 7 quickly on Saturday and Sunday and ended up closing at 9. The Ravens also sat on the ball inside the five yard line as time expired. There were certainly middling opportunities and this game must have hurt the Vegas and Jersey books hard on both sides.
Buffalo squeezed past Detroit 14-13 but did not cover the 2.5 point closing line. Buffalo improves to 5-9, the same record as Detroit straight up but the Lions are actually an impressive 8-6 ATS this season.
Chicago held off a late Aaron Rodgers drive and finally beat the Bears 24-17. Chicago improves to 10-4 both straight up and ATS this season and will hold on to win the NFC North Division and likely get a bye in the first week of the playoffs.

Cincinnati finally played a solid football game and blew out Oakland at home, 30-16. The public was actually betting Oakland in this game based on recent performance of both teams so this was a surprise to many bettors. Despite Cincy’s 6-8 record they are a respectable 7-7 ATS this season. Meanwhile, Oakland slips to 3-11 straight up and 5-9 ATS
Indianapolis. The Colts posted one of the more impressive wins of the entire weekend. They blew out Dallas 23-0 at home and improved to 8-6 straight up and 7-6-1 ATS. They are very much alive for the last Wildcard in the AFC. Meanwhile, Dallas slips to 8-6 overall and ATS and let the Redskins right back into the conversation to potentially win the NFC East.
Washington. It was a must win game for the Skins and that’s exactly what they did when they went down to Jacksonville and won the game 16-13 in a hard fought defensive battle. The Skins are now 7-7 overall and 8-6 ATS and are tied with Philly just one game back of Dallas with two to play.
Minnesota. The Vikings blew the doors off the Miracle in Miami crew 41-17 and covered the -7.5 point closing line. They stayed very much in the picture of the NFC Wildcard. The Vikes are now 7-6-1 both straight up and ATS.
Tennessee. In one of the bigger line moves of the day that was well documented here at WANNA, the Titans shut out the Giants on the road to eliminate Big Blue from the playoffs. They also keep pace with the others who are fighting for that AFC Wildcard. The Titans improved to 8-6 overall and ATS.
