Titans.  The week started off on Thursday night with a good old fashioned beat down as the Titans put one more nail in the Jacksonville coffin.  Winning the game 30-9 and just going over the posted total of 37.5.  How’s that for a bad beat if you had the Under?  Tennessee improves to 7-6 overall and ATS and play the red hot NY Giants this week on the road.

JETS.  The Jets rallied from behind in Buffalo on Sunday to get a win in a rather meaningless game of two teams that are not making the playoffs.  Both teams now stand at 4-9.

Brownies.  Cleveland won a hard fought battle against the Carolina Panthers who have now lost five straight games and are 1-6 on the road straight up and ATS.  They have all but eliminated themselves from the NFC wildcard picture and will likely have to win out to have a chance to get in.  Cleveland improved to 5-7 overall and an impressive 8-5 ATS for the season.

Packers.  It was too little to late in the new post McCarthy era but the Pack looked better than they have all season yesterday easily winning against the struggling Falcons.  Atlanta is now 4-9 straight up and a horrific 3-10 ATS.  There are few teams that have hurt bettors more than Atlanta this season.

Colts.  The Colts got a much needed win in Houston and put an end to the Texans 8 game winning streak.  After getting shut out the week before, the Colts put up 24 points against Houston and won the game 24-21.  They improve to 7-6 overall and stay very much alive for the AFC Wildcard.  Houston slips to 9-4 overall and 7-6 ATS but stays atop the AFC South and will likely win that division.

Chiefs.  Kansas City survived a game that Baltimore controlled most of the game.  It was a perfect opportunity for the Ravens to get right back into a tie with the Steelers for the AFC North division.  The Chiefs converted two fourth downs on the final drive including some heroic work by QB Mahomes.  Baltimore slips back to 7-6 both straight up and ATS.  The Chiefs.  11-2 overall and 8-2-1 ATS.    Can the Chiefs finally bring their winning ways to the post season this year?

Dolphins.  Miami had no time left on the clock.  They didn’t even have enough field to throw the hail mary.  So instead they threw it to a receiver over the middle and tried to get creative and start lateralling the ball down the field in an effort to pull off a miracle.  They did and won the game on the last play of the game.  They also kept their amazing record against the Pats in Miami in tact and improved to 7-6 overall and 8-5 ATS.  New England is now 9-4 overall and 8-5 ATS and likely won’t have home field advantage for the playoffs, which will belong to either the Chiefs or Chargers.

Saints.  New Orleans clinched the NFC South with a comeback win in Tampa.  They were losing for most of the game but finally mounted a second half comeback and ended up getting the front door cover winning 28-14 as a 10 point chalk.  The Saints improve to 11-2 overall and 10-3 ATS and are still in the hunt(with the Rams) to have home field advantage for the NFC in the playoffs.

Giants.  The Giants blew out the quarterback-less Redskins 40-16 and continue their winning ways.  There won’t be any playoffs for Big Blue, but they certainly are feeling good about themselves and are ready to play spoiler for these final weeks to anyone who comes their way.

Chargers.  The Chargers won but didn’t cover the massive 16.5 point closing line at Wannamakeabet.com.  They barely hung on to beat the Bengals 26-21.  But a win is a win and the Chargers improved to 10-3 and 7-6 ATS.  LAC is still looking to have the best record in the AFC and have a battle with division rival Kansas City this weekend that should make that decision final.

49ers.  Denver is now done.  They’re 6-7 straight up and likely won’t make the AFC playoffs after losing to the 49ers yesterday 20-14 as a 3.5 point favorite.

Lions.  Detroit nearly shut out Arizona on the road yesterday winning the game 17-3.  The Lions are still going nowhere at 5-8 straight up but still have a winning record ATS at 7-6.  Arizona slips to 3-10 overall at 6-7 ATS.

Dallas.  The Cowboys ruined any chance Philly had of climbing back into the NFC East battle winning in overtime against the Eagles 29-23.   Dallas is now 8-5 overall and ATS while Philly slips to 6-7 overall and a horrific 4-9 ATS.  Philly continues to punish bettors this season and likely won’t make the playoffs even if they win out.

Oakland.  The running back-less Steelers lost their third straight game yesterday losing to the lowly Raiders as a 10 point favorite.  Pittsburgh is now 7-5-1 and barely hanging on to the AFC North.  By this time next week they will be fighting for a wild card as they have to travel to New England while Baltimore gets Tampa at home.

Chicago.  The Bears defense shut down one of the most high powered offenses in the NFL last night and beat the Rams 15-6.  The Bears improve to 9-4 overall and ATS and hold on to the NFC North division race.  Meanwhile the Rams are still 11-2 overall but have been tough on bettors this season slipping to 5-6-2 ATS.

And that’s a wrap for our NFL week 14 Monday Morning Sports betting QB.  One more game on the card for this week, the Monday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings.  Stay tuned to our blog all week long for insight, analysis and predictions.
