Sports Betting Is For Losers

That’s right.  Sports Betting is for losers.   I’m not saying everyone who bets on sports is a loser I’m saying that everyone who bets on sports loses money.  Maybe they are one in the same, maybe there’s a difference, who knows.  All I know is that over the long haul, 99.99% of the people who bet money on sports lose the money that they risked.   Just go to any sports book and take a look around.  Does it look like anyone is winning?

Maybe they don’t care.  Maybe it’s just entertainment and they don’t expect to win.  They just try to last as long as possible.  Or they take a few hundred bucks and go to the sports book just to have fun for the day and bet on their favorite team to cover the spread or to try and hit a home run parlay.  Kind of like going into any casino and playing cards or a table game and trying to stay alive as long as possible or until your money runs out.

There is a reason sports betting is considered a game of chance, and not a game of skill.  The way the ball bounces, the referees, the different motivations and emotional states of players, these are just a few of the infinite number of variables that determine the outcome of a contest, none of which are controllable or predictable by a human being or a computer.

Don’t believe me?  Join a league here at Wannamakeabet.com or start one of your own and bet as much as your heart delights and let me know what your balance looks like over a week, month, or a year.  The more bets you place, the better the chances that your balance goes red.

Don’t get me wrong, we want you to have fun, we want you to enjoy the rush of betting on sports and rooting for your team and proving to your friends that you know what you’re doing.  That’s why we started the business  We just don’t want you to lose money while you’re at it.   We’re trying to let you enjoy the rush while eliminating the risk.
