Saturday MLB Prediction: Yankees Ready To Shake The Rain!

Due to the weather and travel days during the week, the New York Yankees only managed to play 5 innings of baseball during a four day stretch, and boy did it show Friday night. Going in to the first game many thought that this weekend series could be an easy sweep for the Bronx Bombers. Gleyber Torres who is normally a lock down defender made two costly mistakes that led to the Royals tacking on three that they shouldn’t have had.

For the second game of the series we will see Luis Severino up against Danny Duffy. The Yankees have a very righty heavy lineup and should have no problem knocking Duffy out of this game. Versus righties Duffy is sitting at a 6.93 era, with a .308 BAA. I expect Severino to step in and continue dominating like he has all season! Lefty Mike Moustakas has been off to a hot season after taking a while to land with a team. However, other than him and catcher Salvador Perez the Royals do not strut out a line up that should be able to slow down Sevy.

Prediction New York Yankees -1.5 over Kansas City Royals
