NFL Week 13 – Predictions and Power Rankings

from TheBrysh for Wannamakeabet.com

Welcome back NFL Fans! Week 12 of the 2022 season is behind us, and it’s time to calculate the NFL Predictions for Week 13. @TheBrysh Power Rankings (PR’s) are calculated using a proprietary algorithm, @TheBrysh Power Rankings are also used to calculate weekly predictions. Week 12 predictions for @TheBrysh were 10/16, for a season total of 102/179 or 57% on straight up wins. As the weeks progress, the numbers get dialed in and the predictions become even more accurate. Point spreads are courtesy of wannamakeabet.com and are accurate at the time of writing.   Here are the power rankings for Week 13.

week 13 power rankings

THURSDAY NIGHT GAME

Buffalo Bills(-5.5) @ New England Patriots Bills QB Josh Allen will have his hands full on Thursday night with the pass rush of Pat’s LB Matt Judon, who leads the NFL with 13 sacks. Last week the Patriots outplayed the Vikings, but showed inability in the red-zone. I’ll stick with the Bowl Bound Bills to squeak it out 22-21.

EARLY SUNDAY GAMES

Pittsburgh Steelers(-2) @ Atlanta Falcons The Atlanta Falcons will need QB Marcus Mariota to challenge the Steelers with an aerial assault if they want a shot at this game. Pittsburgh will definitely want to keep Atlanta off of the scoreboard, control the ball and manage the clock, if they do that they should win 31-26.

Green Bay Packers(-3.5) @ Chicago Bears Yes, the Bears are reeling after an embarrassing loss to the Jets, but QB Justin Fields is due for a breakout game. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers looks to be on his last legs, he’ll put up a fight but @TheBrysh calls for an UPSET, ‘Da Bears 22-21.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Detroit Lions(-1.5) A victory over the Ravens last week, albeit a very slim 1 point difference, lifts the Jag’s potential. However, the Lions are riding a positive wave of their own beating the spread in a close loss to the Bills. Detroit should be able to pull this one off 34-32.

Washington Commanders(-1.5) @ NY Giants Surprising as it is, the Commanders remain in playoff contention behind QB Taylor Heinicke. The Giants have been struggling lately, especially due to a thinned out roster. Washington will extend it’s playoff hopes with a 31-26 victory over the Giants.

Tennessee Titans @ Philadelphia Eagles(-6.5) Former Tennessee (now Philadelphia) WR AJ Brown will get a chance to play against his former teammates this weekend. I’m putting money on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown putting up some big points to take a 31-25 win at home.

Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens(-8) Denver obviously has problems offensively, while their defense tries to keep games close. Broncos DT Mike Purcell had intense words with QB Russell Wilson on Sunday, will this light a fire? I doubt it, I’ll take the Ravens to cruise to an easy 29-16 win.

Cleveland Browns(-7) @ Houston Texans The disappointing 3-7 Browns will be rejoined by their disgraced QB DeShaun Watson, will he be ready? Normally I wouldn’t side with a quarterback who has been idle for nearly 2 years, but the Texans are THAT BAD! @TheBrysh predicts a comfortable win for the Browns 26-21.

NY Jets @ Minnesota Vikings(-3) The experts are predicting a 3 point victory for the Vikings in a low-scoring 42 point over/under. @TheBrysh forecasts a much different future with a high scoring shootout, with a surprising UPSET win for the new-and-improved NY Jets 39-38!

LATE SUNDAY GAMES

Seattle Seahawks(-5) @ LA Rams The return of Rams QB Matthew Stafford is still unclear, so I’m not holding my breath to see him on Sunday. Seattle did lose to the Raiders last week, but put up 34 points in the process. ‘Hawks QB Geno Smith is good for 300+ yards and a 22-20 victory.

Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers(-3.5) Both of these teams are on a roll with impressive winning streaks, unfortunately one streak will end this week. QB’s Jimmy Garappolo and Tua Tagovailoa have both been maligned, the ‘Niners defense will make the difference. Take San Fran’ to win 32-25.

Kansas City Chiefs(-2.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals Kansas City has been an example of consistency this season, and their 9-2 record is proof of that. Bengals stars WR Ja’Marr Chase and RB Joe Mixon will rejoin the Cincinnati pride to help their team to an UPSET 31-30 win over the Chiefs.

LA Chargers(-2.5) @ Las Vegas Raiders Don’t worry about which teams defensive units will step up this week, this will be a shootout to the end. The oddsmakers are calling for a Chargers victory, but @TheBrysh is siding with the OVERRATED Raiders and WR Davante Adams in an UPSET win 34-32.

Indianapolis Colts @ Dallas Cowboys(-9.5) A 9.5 point spread is a gift for the hapless Colts as they step into AT&T Stadium in Dallas. On paper, these rosters show a complete mismatch and @TheBrysh is calling for the Cowboys to steamroll Indy 33-18.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers(-3.5) With a mathematical chance for a playoff berth, the Saints are faced with game-planning against Bucc’s HC Bill Belichick. Tampa Bay may be 5-6, but this is Monday Night Football and Belichick will not be outshone. I’ll take the Bucc’s 22-18.
