The commish is ready for another week in the NFL even though presidents and quarterbacks are dropping like flies from Covid-19. We already have one cancellation this week and perhaps one more if the rest of the Patriots test negative today. Either way, we’ve got a full card on tap this week so let’s get right into it with our NFL week #4 predictions.

Colts – 3 over Bears –
On paper, the Colts are the best team in the NFL taking into account who they’ve played and relative strength of schedule. The bears are reeling and Nick Foles is not an upgrade from Mitch. Even though I missed the good number here laying less than a field goal (opened -1) I like the Colts to cover this number today with ease.
Detroit + 3 over Saints –
Very live dog here in Detroit today and I’ll gladly take the field goal even though I had a chance earlier this week to get 4. Michael Thomas is still out and Detroit showed some teeth on the road last week against Arizaona and got their first win. They can light up this Saint defense and I fully expect them to be in this game and likely win it.
Dallas / Cleveland Over 56
I watching the injury report wire to see if CB Denzel Ward will play today but that is for a possibly play on the Browns. Either way, I don’t see either one of these defenses being able to stop the other offense as both secondaries are not strong and both offenses can absolutely light people up. Something like 35-28, 42-35, 35-31 seems like the right final score in this one. And hoping the Browns get the W.
Houston -3.5 over Minnesota over 53.5
Two great offenses, two horrible defenses. Neither of these defenses have shown that they can protect a lead or get a pass rush and so I’m just using basic logic that they’re going to light it up today with a basic loser goes home scenario as both teams come into this one at 0-3
Cincinnati – 2.5 over Jacksonville
Young Joe is clearly a competitor has shown great promise in the Cincy losses and tie to Philly and today is the day he gets his first win. Jacksonville showed their true colors last week in their loss to Miami showed how important DJ Clark is to the offense. But either way, the pre-season ranking of the Jags being one of the worst teams in the league should start to prove correct as they take another loss today in Cincy.
