The Pats Go Marching In. Bills/Pats Monday Night Football preview.

The Pats will go marching in to Buffalo on Monday night.  And very few people across the betting universe will be taking the Bills in this affair.  The New England Patriots are 4-0 straight up and 3-1 against the spread over their last four games. The Pats are, therefore, a huge favorite to extend their winning streak this Monday night when they visit the lowly Buffalo Bills.

New England is a 13.5-point road favorite in Buffalo at Wannamakeabet.com . In their last 18 games on the road, the Patriots are 15-3 SU and 13-5 ATS.

The Pats.  Even one of the best defenses in the NFL proved to be no match for New England’s offense last Sunday. They went into Chicago and beat the Bears 38-31.  And they put up  38 points for the fourth straight game in a row.

And that was without Gronk as well, who is expected to return this week against the Bills.  The Pats have historically dominated the Bills. Most recently, the Patriots are 6-0 SU in their last six games against Buffalo and 4-0 ATS.

Now, the Bills.  Over the course of Buffalo’s miserable 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS season, a shocking 27-6 road win over Minnesota as 16.5-point underdogs sticks out like a sore thumb.  Do they have something like in them for this Monday night?

That particular upset win against the Vikes turned out to be an anomaly instead of a turning point to the season.  Since then, the Bills are just 1-3 SU and have averaged a paltry 7.75 points per game. Buffalo is 3-26 SU and 9-18-2 ATS in its last 29 games against New England.

Monday night’s total is set at 44 points. The UNDER is 5-0 in Buffalo’s last five games and 4-1 in New England’s last five games against division rivals.  That will likely repeat itself this week as the Bills offense has been abysmal since Josh Rosen left for injury.

With New England averaging 39.25 over its last four games and Buffalo averaging only 7.75, it’s difficult to make a compelling argument for the Bills in this one.

It gets even more difficult when you consider how thoroughly the Patriots have dominated this head-to-head series over the last 15 years. Contraion bettors will likely hold their noses and take the points on the home team.  But the majority of NFL bettors are going to have trouble passing up the Patriots in this spot.  We think the Pats are easy money.  Sit back and watch them dismantle this team.  Pats win easy, something like 31-10.
