October 13, 2026 | WANNA
Quarterback uncertainty, depleted offensive lines and injuries stacking up in the secondary lead this week’s early injury watch. Here are the major concerns around the league heading into practice updates.
Top five stories to follow
- Baltimore: Lamar Jackson’s ankle and injuries along the interior offensive line.
- Chicago–Atlanta: Caleb Williams and Michael Penix Jr. both questionable.
- Philadelphia: Saquon Barkley’s uncertain availability alongside a depleted backfield and injured receivers.
- Chargers: Multiple injuries to Justin Herbert’s protection and receiving options.
- Thursday night: Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s ankle against a Denver secondary dealing with several key injuries.
Statuses below reflect the October 13 injury-report snapshot. Questionable does not mean ruled out. IR and PUP return designations require activation before a player can play; “inactive” entries may reflect the previous game.
Arizona Cardinals: RB Trey Benson and LT Paris Johnson are on IR, alongside guards Isaiah Adams and Chase Bisontis. RB James Conner is designated for return from IR but still needs activation. CB Will Johnson is also on IR, while safeties Andrew Wingard and Wydett Williams are questionable. Watch: Backfield availability, offensive-line depth and further losses at safety.

OT Ikem Ekwonu remains on PUP, and Taylor Moton is on the non-football illness list. Watch: Protection, receiving depth and a secondary missing both Horn and Jackson.
