The top seed Denver Nuggets look to close out the 8-seed Minnesota Timberwolves tonight on NBA TV. Denver is a 9.5-point favorite and the total is 221. Minnesota avoided a 4-game sweep by winning 114-108 in overtime on Sunday, they withstood a furious late fourth quarter rally from Denver to pull out the win. Denver ended regulation on a 12-0 run over the final 2:36 of the fourth quarter that tied the game at 96 and forced overtime. Denver appeared to have all the momentum heading into the overtime, but a Mike Conley three pointer followed by back-to-back three pointers from Nickeil Alexander-Walker and a driving layup from Anthony Edwards gave Minnesota a 109-102 lead with 1:29 left and put the game out of reach for Denver.

Jamal Murray is putting up 25.3 points, 6.8 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1 steal. Murray missed the last two postseasons for Denver after tearing his ACL in April 2021
