Word Series Game 4 Pick – Astros @ Phillies
The Phillies put on a HR Derby in Game 3 winning 7-0 with 5 home runs! Unfortunately for us with over 8 it was not enough. 7-0 after 5 innings…. 7-0 Final tough beat there.
Going into Game 4 the Astros will send out Cristian Javier who has made one start this postseason going 5 innings of no run ball vs the Yankees. Most of the hitters on the Phillies have not seen Javier in their career so it will be an interesting matchup. The Phillies will throw it back to their Game 1 starter with Aaron Nola taking the mound. The Astros were able to get to Nola in Game 1 allowing 5 runs in just 4 innings of work. Most notably Kyle Tucker took him deep twice.
The Phillies showed off what they have been doing all postseason at home and that is hitting the deep ball. Javier will have a tough task tonight trying to limit them. How will Nola adjust after getting hit around in Game 1? I think one thing in his favor is that he has been lights out at home compared to away from home the past 2 months. I think we do get a lower scoring game here to start out and First 5 innings under 3.5 seems like a good play. I also do think we are likely heading for a 6/7 game series, so I do like the Astros to steal one on the road.
Score Prediction: Astros 4 Phillies 2
Bets:
First Five Innings Under 3.5 Runs
Astros ML -105
