The crazy NFL just keeps on rolling. Last week’s Survivor wrecking Buffalo Bills defeat of the Minnesota Vikings was the perfect example of how nuts this league is. It also reinforces how hard it is to bet and win real money on the NFL! The Bills were getting 17 against the spread in that game and the Vikes lost outright! That’s a +1100 moneyline dog getting there. The NFL. Is. Completely. Unpredictable. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty of predicting this week’s games against the spread. Despite the difficulty in picking games, we use our algorithms to scour our user behavior data and come up with predictions that can give you an edge. Here are the week 4 NFL Predictions against the spread to help you either win your league or make a little extra cash with a real bookmaker.
Vikings + 7 over Rams. Perfect bounce back game for the Vikes and getting 7 points against the spread is 3 more points than the Vikes should be getting had they not lost to the Bills last week. The public is high on the Rams and down on the Vikes but Aquib Talib is out and Peters is questionable but will likely plan. What a perfect time to jump on a dog. Great defense and a competent quarterback.
Detroit + 3 over Dallas. Besides Ezekial Elliott, is there anything about the Dallas Cowboy offense that gives you confidence? The opposite is true about the Lions as they have weapons galore and come off the win against the Pats with a bit of swagger. Yes, a home game for Dallas but that adds even more pressure to a team on the verge of desperation. Take the Lions and the 3 and perhaps even touch the moneyline as they get the outright win.

Jets + 7.5 over Jacksonville – The Jags offense is missing their running game. Both Fournette and Yeldon are either out or extremely banged up and we don’t see a lot of points being put up. The public thinks the Jets are horrible because they lost to Cleveland but their defense is stellar and should be able to stay within the number on this one. Getting more than a TD in the NFL is usually comforting.
Patriots -6.5 over Dolphins. – Party’s over Miami, just like it ended for the Bucs, the undefeated streak comes to an end in Foxboro on Sunday. Brady and the boys rebound from the Detroit loss and get back on track at home. Both defensive ends for Miami may miss the game which gives Brady all the time in the world to pick them apart.
Saints -3.5 over Giants – The Giants played great and desperate last week to avoid going 0-3 but it will be back to the same old thing this week. They come home and try to stop the high powered offense of the Saints. Two key injuries on the Giant defense with Vernon and Apple won’t help. Eli will have to play perfect just to keep scoring with this team, and at a certain point in the second half, the Saints will pull away.
Steelers – 3 over Baltimore – Always one of our favorite matchups, no matter what the records are. Steelers are back on track after the stiff arm and the win at Tampa. Hopefully the short week won’t matter as DeCastro and Gilbert are back from injury and that should give Ben more time against this pass rush. Meanwhile Ronnie Stanley is hurt for Baltimore and TJ Watt should get home on Falco more than once.
