Another crazy Sunday in the NFL for week #2 of the 2018 season has concluded with some big upsets and covers that were difficult to predict. Today’s monday morning sports betting QB looks back at the card from week #2 of the NFL with a quick synopsis on some key games.
The Browns shot themselves in the foot, again, and were not able to close the deal against the Saints but they did cover the big number of +10 and almost got there for moneyline backers. The kicker missed three field goals and two extra points and may not have traveled back to Cleveland with the team. The only saving grace for the Saints backers was that they won the game on a last minute field goal to avoid a complete disaster for Survivor players and get there in a three team teaser.
Pittsburgh’s defense continues to really struggle as they gave up 42 points to the visiting Chiefs and lost the game outright 42-37. This meant Pittsburgh teasers did not get there and Chief moneyline bets did. A nice cash for the upset minded bettors and Cleveland fans who hate the Steelers, like the Commish :).
The Redskins were stomped at home by the Colts. Not many saw this coming after the Skins blew out Arizona on the road last week and the Colts lost big in their opener to Cincy. Classic NFL sports betting cluster F.
The Tampa Bay bucs stayed hot and are now 2-0 after the visiting Super Bowl champion Eagles could not cover a small spread on the road and lost outright 27-20. Quarterback Fitzpatrick is getting his second wind and taking full advantage of his 15 minutes of fame by dressing like a goon in the post game locker room interview. Don’t worry, at some point soon it will all come crashing down, we’re just not sure when.
Minnesota came roaring back against the Packers to get the game into overtime but then could not kick a game winning field goal to win the game as time expired and we had our second Tie in as many weeks as the game ended 29-29.
The Patriots were manhandled in Jacksonville as the Jags got revenge for their AFC championship game loss and beat up on New England 31-20. Even players who had the Pats in the 4 team teaser didn’t cash their tickets as this game was the ultimate Teaser wrecker.
