Good morning sports fans. Here are my college football predictions for Week #2 of the 2018 season. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone play in the leagues at Wannamakeabet.com this season. Good luck, you’ll need it to beat me.

Pick One: USC +3.5 against Stanford
My favorite pick of the week is the Trojans going up to Palo Alto to play Stanford. USC is coming off a less-than-impressive win over UNLV, while Stanford looked sluggish at times in a victory over San Diego State. This a series that has gone back and forth since 2007, with USC winning the last meeting in the PAC 12 Championship game. Trojans quarterback J.T. Daniels looked composed against SDSU, and he’s the real deal. Bryce Love rushed for just 29 yards on 18 attempts last week, and USC’s defense will bounce back from last week’s struggles, and the Trojans score on special teams. USC with the upset win.
Pick Two: Geogria -10 against South Carolina
I like the Gamecocks, don’t love em. I LOVE the Bulldogs, even with a road trip to Columbia this weekend. Georgia hasn’t lost to South Carolina since 2014, and the streak isn’t ending this season. The Dawgs come in ranked 3rd, while the Gamecocks enter in 24th. In their first game, Georgia had a 508 to 152 edge in total yards, and I just don’t have the faith in South Carolina’s defense to stop the offense of Georgia. The home crowd will be rocking in Columbia, but I expect Georgia to win the game by two scores or more.

Pick Three: Michigan State -6 against Arizona State
Lot of hype surrounding this ASU team with the arrival of coach Herm Edwards, and Michigan State definitely struggled against Utah State last week. Even with their struggles last week, MSU still outgained their opponents 165-25 on the ground, and the Spartans are 11-2 SU in their last 13 games in September. The Spartans had the ball for 38 minutes last week, while ASU had it just for 28 minutes. Look for it to be close going into the fourth quarterback, but the Spartans take advantage of Sun Devils turnovers, walk out with a 10 point victory.
Pick Four: Texas A&M +12 against Clemson
I fought myself the last few days over this pick, but I’m sticking by it. College Station will be rocking for Jimbo Fisher’s first test as Aggie head coach. Also, Fisher knows the Tigers, having played them each year at FSU. Both teams are coming off breeze victories in week one, with both sides of the ball looking spectacular. Kelly Bryant and the Clemson d-line will play like they should, but don’t expect a blowout. A&M’s quarterback Kellen Mond and running back Trayveon Williams will let you know who they are. Clemson will win, but by either a touchdown or 10, nothing more.
Pick Five: UCLA +30.5 against Oklahoma
Bruins are coming off a loss to Cincinnati last week, while Oklahoma looked unstoppable against FAU. Don’t think that the Bruins are going to come in and win this game and get Chip Kelly his first victory, just not going to happen. UCLA, if they can figure out their quarterback, will be able to move the ball, and keep it close-ish in the first half. Oklahoma and Kyler Murray will roll the Bruins, however, the Sooners will fail to cover the spread.
