Redskins @ Giants – December 31st, 2017: Line: Redskins -4
Writing this for you guys to see is easily one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do, so I will not make it a long process. This is so hard because I am a die hard Giants fan and one rule I have had throughout my gambling career is to never bet on or against you team. However, when you see the slop the Giants are putting on that field today, you’d be a fool not to take the low line of 4 points with the Skins.
The Giants are rolling out guys who I have never even heard of. If I haven’t heard of them, there’s a 99.9% they are hot garbage. This team has packed it in a long time ago and guess what? They are “playing” for something today. A loss will secure this Giants team with the #2 overall pick in the draft. Their biggest game of the year. What a disaster.
This is week 17, I’m throwing the ATS records out the window, I am throwing the team stats out the window. I am going by the straight up eye test. Washington should beat the Giants by a minimum of 10 today. This is Kirk Cousins final chance to show ownership what he is worth. Expect a monster game against an atrocious secondary with no Landon Collins or Janoris Jenkins. Winning today means Jay Gruden’s club gets to .500, a feat I’m certain he wants. Especially since he learned he will be back next year, winning today gives them some momentum going into next year, with a loss not exactly affecting their draft position.
There you have it, bet the Skins today. And if you want to berate me for betting against my team today, throw your shade on Twitter @don_bleeker.
Have a safe and happy New Year!
Pick: Redskins -4
