Monday Morning NFL Quarterback: Around The League In 30 Seconds from Week 13

Week #13 is almost entirely in the books.  One more game left, Steelers/Bengals in an AFC North Battle on Monday NIght.  Can the Bengals pay off as a Monday Night home dog?

We shall see.  Around the league, it was an exciting day, here’s a quick recap of what went down.

Atlanta continues to struggle.  Completely outmatched by the Vikings and didn’t cover the small number or get there in a two team teaser.  Vikes continue to be great value every week.

Baltimore, a popular Sharp play dismantled Detroit and may have broken Stafford’s hand while they were at it.  Ravens very much alive for a wild card.

New England.  Another easy win but may have lost Gronk for a game due to his bad temper.  It won’t matter.   They’re headed back to the AFC Championship game at least.

San Fran won and covered with 5 field goals over the bears.

Green Bay got the late, front door cover on a late touchdown over the Bucs.

Jacksonville, easy cover again over the hapless Colts.  They always blow them out.

Denver.  Is.  Horrible.  Getting blown out by Cutler and Miami is the ultimate insult.

The Chiefs… are completely lost.  The Jets aren’t as bad as people think but the Chiefs are sliding into oblivion.  When you get a holding call and throw the flag into the stands and it’s caught by a guy with a Yarmulke, you know the season’s over.

The Titans got a miracle late TD to cover the 7 points over Houston.  Heartbreaking for Houston backers and sheer elation for people who laid the 7 with Tennessee.

The Browns looked better and got the cover over Sandy.  Josh Gordon is back but they  still haven’t won a game.

The Saints at home.  I’m one of those fools who took Carolina and the points.  Not smart.

Rams pounded Arizona 32-16 and wrecked even the four team teasers getting 13 points with Arizona.  That’s when you know it’s bad.

The Giants fired Ben McAdoo promptly on Monday Morning.  At least he delivered a back door cover for bookies in the Oakland game on his way out the door.

Seattle got the easy win against Philly.  Easy because when there’s a penalty flag thrown on every other play of the game against the team Seattle plays, how could you not get the easy win?
